Tier Badge
The tier badge is displayed prominently at the top of the publisher profile — a four-level system from Bronze through Platinum that reflects cumulative marketplace impact and unlocks progressively greater visibility benefits.
The Four Tiers
Bronze
Starting tier. All new publishers begin at Bronze. Standard marketplace listing with no additional benefits. 0 – 999 reputation points.
Silver
Reached at 1,000 points. Priority support queue access. Silver badge displayed on profile and package cards. 1,000 – 4,999 reputation points.
Gold
Reached at 5,000 points. Featured placement eligibility on the homepage and category pages. 15% search ranking boost. 5,000 – 19,999 reputation points.
Platinum
Reached at 20,000 points. Priority search ranking boost (highest tier modifier). Dedicated account support access. 20,000+ reputation points.

Tier Permanence
Tiers are permanent — once a publisher reaches a tier threshold, they stay at that tier forever. Reputation decay (older installs and reviews weigh less over time) affects point totals and leaderboard position but never causes a tier demotion.
If a publisher reaches Gold with 6,000 points and reputation decay brings their weighted total to 4,500 points, they retain the Gold badge. The tier threshold is a lifetime achievement, not a maintenance requirement.
Tier Badge Placement
The tier badge appears in three places:
- Top of the publisher profile page — large, prominent badge
- Publisher name line on every package card in search results
- Publisher info card on every package detail page
