Certifications Earned
The certifications section of the publisher profile displays all achievement badges and package certifications earned — a permanent showcase of quality milestones and community recognition.
Two Types of Displayed Certifications
The certifications section combines two related but distinct types of achievements:
| Type | What They Are | How Earned |
|---|---|---|
| Package Certifications | Certified level badges earned by individual packages | Package passes the human review process |
| Achievement Badges | Publisher-level milestones — First Publish, 1000 Installs, Top 10, etc. | Specific milestones automatically granted or admin-granted |
Achievement Badges Gallery
Achievement badges are displayed in a horizontal gallery with tooltips that explain when each was earned.
| Badge | When Earned | Tooltip Text |
|---|---|---|
| First Publish | On first package approval | "Published their first marketplace package" |
| 100 Installs | Cumulative 100 installs | "Reached 100 total installs" |
| 1,000 Installs | Cumulative 1,000 installs | "Reached 1,000 total installs" |
| Top 10 Leaderboard | Ranked in top 10 at any daily snapshot | "Ranked in the top 10 publisher leaderboard" |
| Community Helper | 10 accepted Q&A answers | "Had 10 replies marked as accepted answers" |
| Certified Publisher | First package achieves Certified status | "Has at least one Certified package" |
Certified Package List
Below the achievement badge gallery, a list of the publisher's Certified (and Official, if applicable) packages is shown with the certification date. This provides concrete evidence of the Certified Publisher badge for users who want to verify the claim.
All achievement badges are permanent — once earned, they remain on the profile even if the underlying condition no longer holds. For example, a publisher who briefly reached the top 10 leaderboard retains the "Top 10 Leaderboard" badge even if their ranking later drops. Certification badges for packages are separate — if a package certification is revoked, the package badge is removed but the "Certified Publisher" profile badge is retained if any other package remains certified.
