Reputation System
MarketHub's reputation system rewards publishers for genuine marketplace impact — installs, quality reviews, certifications, and community participation — driving four-tier progression from Bronze through Platinum with real visibility benefits at each level.
How the System Works
Reputation is a points-based accumulation system. Every meaningful interaction on the marketplace generates points for the publisher of the relevant package. Points accumulate over time, driving publishers through tier thresholds that unlock progressively greater marketplace benefits.

Two Score Concepts
The reputation system uses two distinct score values:
Lifetime Points
All points ever earned, without decay applied. Used for tier threshold calculation. Never decreases below a tier once earned.
Weighted Score
Points with age-based decay applied — installs and reviews older than 2 years count at 50%. Used for leaderboard ranking. Can decrease over time.
Even as the weighted score fluctuates with decay, the tier threshold is measured against lifetime points. A publisher who reaches Gold and their weighted score later drops to 4,000 due to decay still holds Gold tier with all its benefits.
